Freshly caught fish is purchased every morning and evening from Neendakara and Vizhinjam which are popular harbours. There is a fish stall adjacent to the restaurant from where we can choose the fish, which will be specially cooked for us.

The ‘chutta’ meen or roasted fish is their special item. Local dishes like chatty choru and shappile meen curry (toddy shop style fish curry) too are popular dishes served at the restaurant. One can enjoy the fresh seafood delicacies at Malsya even up to 12 in the midnight.
