Koyamu (82) of Kondotty in Malappuram district, Abdul Rahman (72) of Thrikkaripur in Kasaragod, Babu (62) of Nedumangadu in Thiruvananthapuram, Noushad (49) of Kozhikode, Asma Beevi (73) of Kollam, Chandran (59) of Irinjalakuda in Thrissur, Asharaf (52) and Sister Angel (81) from Ernakulam district succumbed to the illness on Saturday.

Kozhikode native Alikoya, 77, and Ernakulam native Bipathu, 65, succumbed to the illness on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Nabeesa (75), hailing from Padannakkad in Kasaragod district; Anjali (40), hailing from Payyallur in Palakkad district; K P Laila (62), from Thalassery in Kannur district; and Sulfikar Dawood from Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram.
