When vlogger Mark Wiens fell in love with tapioca and fish curry

Fiery bird eye chillies and the perfect sourness of the Malabar tamarind make the dishes of Kottayam and Idukki districts unique and special. Among the various meats that adorn the dining tables in Idukki, beef enjoys a special position. 'Ellum kappayum' (boiled tapioca mixed with beef on bones cooked in masala gravy), 'ellu curry' (bone stew) and 'idiyirachi' (crushed dry meat) are some of the unique delicacies of this area.

Popular Malayali food vloggers OMKV Unni George and Abin Jose have now introduced the traditional flavours and dishes of Kottayam and Idukki to famous vlogger Mark Wiens whose Youtube channel has millions of subscribers and followers.

Mark really enjoyed the flavours in the spicy fish curry that was served with boiled tapioca. A hardcore foodie, Mark travels around the world just to taste the unique dishes of various places. He also tried his hands in cooking the quintessential tapioca and beef with vlogger Unni.
