Food is part of Ramadan's traditions. Family and friends gather to share and enjoy the meals they prepare. Here is a recipe for the iftar- banana beef ilayada. This tasty recipe is soft and can even be made for an evening snack.

Ingredients
½kg beef
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp meat masala
Onion
4 medium-size bananas
Curry leaves
3 tsp maida
½ tsp crushed jeera and cardamom
Salt as needed
Half grated coconut

Preparation
Cook the beef in garam masala and meat masala along with some curry leaves.
Pour this into a mixer and grind it.
Transfer the mixture into a bowl.
Cut the bananas into half and steam it.
In a bowl, smash the steamed bananas.
Add maida, jeera-cardamom powder, salt, and grated coconut. Mix well.
Spread the mixture evenly on a banana leaf.
Pour beef mixture on top of this and fold it.
Steam the folded leaves until the ada is cooked.
