Muvattupuzha: A little monkey, which earned the wrath of crows after it threw away the eggs from a crow’s nest, has been found running helter-skelter in the town.

The flock of crows has not been letting the monkey to sit in peace for the past six days. The monkey comes under the attack if it lets down its guard even for a short while. Even if it manages to hide itself behind the leaves and branches of trees, the crows will track it down in no time and attack the monkey. It has sustained wounds all over the body. The monkey is not even able to eat anything.

The town's residents have been watching helplessly as the little monkey runs amid the traffic and electric lines to save itself.

The monkey was first spotted in the town last Sunday. It is not known as to from where the monkey came.

The monkey's ordeal began after it laid its hands on a crow's nest atop a tree at the Nehru Park on January 24. The mischievous monkey picked up the eggs from the nest and threw them on the ground one by one. The crows have been attacking it in hordes since then.
