NEET–UG records 95% attendance, many found Chemistry section tough

New Delhi: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test–Undergraduate, 2002, was held smoothly across the country on Sunday afternoon.

Around 18.72 lakh candidates had registered for the entrance test for admission to under-graduate medical courses. The national-level attendance was 95%.

The exam was held in 3,570 centres in 497 cities including 14 centres abroad. With 646 attendees, Dubai had the most number of candidates outside India.

Many candidates found the Chemistry section quite tough.
