NEET-SS: Applications may be submitted till Oct 12

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences will conduct the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Super Specialty (NEET-SS) on November 13 and 14.

The NEET-SS is the entrance exam for admission to super-specialty programmes such as DM, MCh and DNB (SS). Those who have completed MD, MS, and DNM (PG) are eligible to submit applications till October 12.

[Doctorate of Medicine (DM) and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) degrees are awarded for medical and surgical super specialties, respectively. Master of Chirurgiae is a postgraduate degree course leading to the designation of Surgeon. DNB or Diplomate of National Board is a Post-graduate Master's degree same as MD/MS degree awarded to the specialist doctors.]

Exam fee
For each group, the exam fee of Rs 4,425 can be remitted online. Those aspirants choosing to appear for two groups, such as Medical and Pediatric, the fee is Rs 8,850. No GST, but the bank charges will have to be paid.

55 centres
The exam will be conducted at 55 centres, including in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Ernakulam, Thrissur and Kozhikode.
