Cake inspired from Ahaana's wardrobe is the star on Instagram

Those who love baking have become fans of the Insta hashtag ‘fashion cake’ which is currently trending on social media. It is an amazing concept which blends chic fashion with some extraordinary cake baking skills. Millions of bakers from around the world are posting pictures of their amazing cakes with #fashioncake started by Instagram user Sweets by Joana.

Mias cupcakery which is based in Thiruvananthapuram too has uploaded an image of a beautiful cake. The stunning cake covered in lemon yellow fondant is decorated with small icing flowers. This cake is inspired by a beautiful dress worn by actress Ahaana Krishna. The baker has also posted Ahaana’s picture in which she is seen wearing the yellow dress. Mias cupcakery calls this ‘The Ahaana Krishna cake’. Posting the pictures the baker wrote that Ahaana came into her mind instantly when she had planned to participate in the collab. “Yellow is my favourite colour and I love this dress of hers! So I had to do a cake version of this. This is my first ever dress inspired cake. @ahaana-krishna I really hope I did justice to you and your dress. And I’m so glad you loved the cake as well,” wrote mias cupcakery.

Not just the Ahaana cake but there are other cakes that have been inspired from the wonderful couture worn by celebrities like Deepika Padukone, Jahnvi Kapoor and Kate Middleton.

The lockdown period was the time when lots of people decided to dust off their baking skills. While some found sheer joy in baking others earned a decent income from them. The internet too was flooded with baking and cooking videos.
