Kids' cooking | Pasta carbonara

An Italian pasta dish with eggs, cheese, bacon and black pepper as key ingredients, the pasta carbonara is cooked in a unique way, with hot spaghetti dropped over beaten egg for it to blend and get cooked! Sounds fun, doesn't it?

Ingredients
100gm bacon
50gm parmesan cheese
3 large egg
350gm spaghetti
5-6 garlic cloves, peeled and left whole
50gm unsalted butter
Salt and freshly grated black pepper

Preparation
To set aside

Put a large saucepan of water on to boil
Grate the cheese finely
Beat the eggs in a large bowl, season with salt and pepper
Chop the garlic roughly

Now, add 1 tsp salt to the boiling water and add the spaghetti to it, cover and cook for 10 minutes
Add the butter to a heated pan, drop the garlic cloves and bacon in it
Saute for a while in medium flame until the bacon turns crisp and golden
When the pasta is cooked, drain the water and toss into the pan
Mix a large quantity of cheese with the beaten eggs
Once the pasta is very hot, take off the pan, and very quickly, add to the large bowl of beaten eggs and cheese
Mix the spaghetti well with the egg mix. With the optimal heat of the spaghetti, the egg is supposed to get cooked as well
Season with salt if necessary

Notes
The pasta has to be extremely hot while getting added to beaten egg, so that the egg get cooked as well. It will not be scrambled, but cooked. In case you think the egg hasn't cooked to satisfaction, bring the pasta with egg back to the pan and heat for 2 minutes.
