Relish this succulent fish in coconut milk

Treating your guests to some mouth-watering dishes prepared in the authentic Kerala style will definitely earn you some brownie points. Fish in coconut milk is flavoursome as lots of spices are used in it.

Ingredients
1/2 fish
1 coconut (grated)
2 tbsp coconut oil
4 tsp shallots (chopped)
2 tsp ginger (chopped)
3 green chillies
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
3 pieces raw mango (peeled)
2 shallots (chopped)
2 sprigs of curry leaves

Preparation
Clean the fish and cut into small pieces
Prepare 1 cup first extract of coconut milk and 1 1/2 cups of second extract
Heat oil in a pan
Add chopped shallots, ginger, and green chillies
Sauté well
Mix coriander powder, chilli, powder and turmeric powder in water
Make a smooth paste
Add this paste into the sautéed mixture
Sauté well
Once the raw smell of the masala is off, add raw mango and second extract of coconut milk
Mix well
When the mango pieces are softened, add the fish pieces and salt as required
When the fish is cooked, add the first extract of coconut milk
Turn off the heat before the gravy boils
In another pan, heat some oil
Add chopped shallots and curry leaves
Roast well
Pour this over the curry
