Rameswaram: Fourteen people, including seven tourists from Kerala, were seriously injured Monday when two vans collided near Dhanushkodi.
The tourists were part of a 100-member group from Kerala and were on their way to Dhanushkodi in six vans when the accident occurred, the police said.
One of the vans in which the tourists were travelling and a van transporting locals collided resulting in injuries to 14 people.
The injured were admitted to a hospital in Ramanathapuram.
