Earthquake of 4.5 magnitude recorded in Arabian Sea

An earthquake of 4.5 magnitude was felt in the Arabian Sea, 270 kilometres from the Minicoy ‎island in Lakshadweep Monday evening.
According to the National Center for Seismology, the earthquake at a depth of 10km originated at 8.56 pm. The epicenter was more than 650km from Kollam. No damages have been reported yet.
