It is too hot to go out and all that is left to do is to curl on a couch and sip something chilled, that will also give you the much-required energy boost (or cure a bad hangover). Try out this healthy orange carrot ginger juice that is a treat for your eyes with a lovely hue and smooth texture. The citrus and carrots will bless you with an instant energy lift as well as giving a boost to your immune system.
Ingredients
2 carrots
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 orange
1 inch piece of ginger
Sugar or honey, as required
Preparation
Peel and wash the carrots and ginger
Chop them into small pieces
Place them in a blender
Add peeled orange, lemon juice and ¼ cup water to it
Add sugar or honey to taste
Blend until smooth
You can also run it through a mesh strainer if you don't want it to be too pulpy
Add ice cubes and serve
