This snack is easy yet unique; a blend of semolina, butter, cheese, milk and spices, it is deep fried to make a luscious snack, never before made!
Ingredients
40gm butter
½ litre milk
125gm refined rawa/semolina
4 green chillies, finely chopped
2-3 garlic pods, finely chopped
1 small piece ginger, finely chopped
500gm grated cheese
2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
Salt, as required
Bread powder, as required
Preparation
In a non-stick pan, heat butter and milk
When it boils, add rawa into it and mix it well. Make sure that it does not form lumps
Add green chillies, garlic and ginger to this
When the mixture becomes thick, add the grated cheese and coriander leaves
Now, layer this mixture in a flat vessel smeared with butter evenly. Press it with the backside of a spoon to even it out. Keep this in the fridge for an hour
Take it out, cut into cubes, and apply bread powder on it
Then, fry it in hot oil
