Easy strawberry panna cotta recipe

Panna cotta might be the second best thing Italian cuisine has contributed to the world after pizzas. These light and creamy dessert glasses are easy to make with just five ingredients. Vanilla panna cottas go best with fruit purees and jams, preferably berries. This Valentine's Day, we present you with a an easy vanilla strawberry panna cotta recipe to add some hue to your platter.

Ingredients
1 cup strawberry puree
100 ml milk
100 ml whipping cream
5 gm gelatin soaked in 1 tbsp water
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/8th cup of sugar

Preparation
Heat milk, whipping cream and sugar together in a sauce pan
Cook until the sugar gets dissolved
Stir continuously
Add vanilla essence and mix well
Add gelatin and mix until it is dissolved
Pour this mixture to the serving glassesRefrigerate it for 3-4 hours, preferably overnight
Once it is set, top it with strawberry puree
Serve chilled
