Oats, commonly eaten as oatmeals, is one of most loved cereals in the world. Known for its great nutritional values, oats are either consumed as breakfast porridge or used in baked goods. But if you think that an oatmeal is too bland for your or an oat upma is just not your thing, here is another way – that too a delicious one – to include it in your breakfast menu: as dosas. They are easy to prepare, requires a short amount of time to make the batter compared to the conventional dosa varieties and are one of the healthiest options to start your day with. Here is how to prepare tasty and crispy oats dosa in under twenty minutes.

Ingredients
2 cups oats
1 ¾ cups water
½ onion
3 green chillies
Some curry leaves
1 tsp salt

Preparation
Soak the oats for at least 15 minutes
Grind the soaked oats with rest of the ingredients
Heat a greased pan
Pour a ladle full of oats dosa batter and spread into thin crepe
Flip and cook
Enjoy crispy oats dosa with coconut chutney.
