Kochi: A man was on Monday arrested for harassing Malayalam actress Parvathy Thiruvothu on phone.
Kollam native Afsal (34) was arrested by the Maradu police following a complaint by the actress that he constantly disturbed her through phone calls.
Afsal allegedly reached Parvathy's residence in Kochi with food parcels.
The accused who surrendered to the police station was later let out on bail. The arrest has been made under section 354 D (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
