Peanut butter is something that everyone loves to munch, not just those hitting the gym. It’s both delicious and nutrient-rich. It has important nutrients like protein, healthy fats, vitamins (E and B), and minerals (magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium).

The healthy fats contained in it can help better cholesterol levels and reduce the risk of heart disease. It also contains antioxidants like resveratrol and dietary fibre that help in digestion.

Peanut butter is eaten in many ways, including in salads and with bread. Consuming peanut butter in moderate amounts can help in controlling weight. It can also help stabilize blood sugar levels.

Despite its many benefits, the peanut butter bought from the stores may not be healthy very often. Peanut butter can be made at home for consumption without unhealthy additives. Let's take a look at how we can easily make it at home.

Ingredients
1 cup peanuts
1 pinch salt
1 spoon honey

Preparation
Roast peanuts lightly on a pan on low flame to turn them crispy
Once done, keep them aside for a few minutes to cool
Now, wrap them in a cloth and rub it thoroughly
This will peel their skin off
Grind these peanuts in a mixer
Open the lid and add a pinch of salt and a spoon of honey
Grind it all again
Keep checking the mix opening the lid
Oil will come out of the peanuts and turn the powder into healthy, homemade peanut butter
Keep it in an airtight container and store it in fridge
