Kozhikode: Two died and three others were seriously injured after a car collided with a heavy-duty truck at Pantheerankavu here on Thursday.
The deceased have been identified as Paimbalassery natives Krishnankutty and Sudha.
The injured are being treated at the Medical College Hospital at Kozhikode.
The accident occurred at 5 pm. The car was crushed on the impact and it is understood that two persons were killed on the spot.
