Filli tea is infused with saffron and served in some posh restaurants and cafes around the globe. However, it can be easily made at home as well. Check out the recipe for the exotic filli tea.
200 ml full fat milk
50 ml water
2 tsp sugar
2½ tsp tea powder
4 saffron strands
1 small piece cinnamon
Boil the full fat milk with some water
Add tea powder and sugar into it
Boil nicely for at least 5 minutes on low flame
Add saffron and cinnamon
Boil for 5-8 minutes on low flame
Now the tea would be thickened and half in quantity
Transfer the tea into a glass
Garnish with 2-3 saffron strands
Enjoy the filli tea with the refreshing taste of saffron.
