International Tea Day | Make instant chai with these tea bombs

If you are a tea lover, a life without tea is nothing but darkness and full of disorder. And, if your day seems topsy-turvy and as stormy as it can be, there is nothing tranquil and peaceful as a nice hot cup of tea bomb!  Folks… the famous butter tea is passe’. Tea bomb is the new vogue.

The main attraction of the tea bomb is that it can be made instantly. You can make honey lemon tea bombs at home, or in office or even in your man cave in the backyard.

Drop a tea bomb in a cup and add water or milk. Kaboom! There is no time for caution or to retire rapidly to a safe place, a nice cuppa tea bomb is ready to take your breath away and that's exactly what makes the tea bomb special. It's instant.

So what on earth is a tea bomb? It's a wonderful concoction of tea powder, seasonings and spices rolled into globules or, balls. The truth is, there are myriad other flavours such as mint, lavender, lemon and what not. 

Here is how to make your own tea bombs at home. 

I cup water
2 cups of sugar
½ cup of corn syrup

Mix all the ingredients in a bowl and heat. When it reduces, add your favourite flavour essence
Pour a spoon of this mixture into a candy moulder
Use your spoon to flatten the top surface to form a hemisphere
After it is set, extract the candy from the moulder
Add honey and lemon powder to candy and place the teabag in the middle and close it with another candy
Tea bomb is ready to blow your mind. Enjoy!
