Jayesh George and family, who are settled in the United Kingdom, had many dreams and aspirations when they decided to build their dream abode at his home town in Changanaserry, Kerala. They wanted a modern house with all the luxurious and modern facilities. This stunning mansion was designed by architect Jaison Joseph by keeping in mind the likes and preferences of the family members. It was his wife Richu who decked up the interiors of this house.

The show wall that projects from the façade is the highlight of the exteriors. A spectacular blend of various geometrical patterns makes this house stand out. The PVC laminated board in wooden finish is an eye-catching feature. The show wall is highlighted using black claddings as well.

The family lives at this house only for 30 days in a year. So, the building materials were wisely chosen to make the maintenance super easy. For example, synthetic grass is paved on the drive way. The family is visited by lots of guests whenever they are here. So, the structure is built by leaving enough space in the front for parking facilities.

This 3500 sqft mansion has a car porch, sit out, formal and family living areas, dining space, kitchen with an adjacent work area, upper living area, prayer space, gym, bar and a swimming pool as well.

False ceiling in gypsum – plywood finish and theme lighting play pivotal roles in enhancing the elegance of the main hall.

The interiors don the classy charm of wooden theme. From the beautiful stairway to the paneling, the elegance of timber could be seen. The hand railings of the stairway feature the suave combination of wood and stainless steel. Vitrified tiles are paved on the floor. Most pieces of furniture are custom made to match the general theme of the house. Besides these, a few more pieces were directly purchased by the architect and the interior designer.

The bath attached bedrooms have in – built wardrobes for storage and separate dressing spaces as well.

The kitchen, meanwhile, is designed in minimal style as it is not used much.

Jayesh and his family give full credit for designing such a mesmerizing house to the architect and the designer. However, the couple says they were given immense creative freedom by the owner, which made them confident and inspired them as well.
