Pazham nurukku (banana bites) makes a healthy snack which is easy to make. A traditional Kerala recipe, pazham nurukku is also consumed as part of breakfast on Thiruvonam.
Ingredients
4 ripened banana (Nendran)
3 tbsp ghee
2 tbsp jaggery syrup
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Preparation
Heat ghee in a pan
Thick slice the banana and transfer it to the pan
Cook the banana until it turns brown
Slowly add jaggery syrup
Mix well
Sprinkle the cardamom powder
Tasty pazham nurukku is ready to serve
