Special Payyoli chicken fry

Is there anyone who doesn't love crispy fried chicken? Here is a simple recipe of payyoli fried chicken where the spiciness from the green chillies cuts perfectly through the juicy and tender chicken pieces. Bits of grated coconut, fried in fresh coconut oil, add the right texture to the dish.

Ingredients
500 gms chicken (marinated with salt, chilli powder and turmeric powder)
1 tsp chilli powder
2 ½ tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
¼ tsp garam masala
3 green chillies
1 tbsp rice flour
1 tsp ginger - garlic paste
½ tbsp vinegar / lemon juice
1 tbsp grated coconut
Curry leaves
Coconut oil to fry
Salt as required

Preparation
Into a bowl add chilli powder, Kashmiri chilli powder, garam masala, ginger - garlic paste, curry leaves, vinegar / lemon juice, green chillies, turmeric powder and salt as required
Pour some water and mix it well into a marinade
Add the scored chicken into it and mix the marinade well into the chicken pieces using your hand
Keep this in the fridge for at least an hour
After an hour, add the rice flour into it and mix well
Heat oil in pan and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces
Into the same hot oil, add grated coconut and some curry leaves and fry it
Add the fried coconut and curry leaves into the chicken pieces
Mix well
Serve hot with coriander chutney or ketchup.
