Easy Chinese style pasta

Chinese dishes are quite popular in Kerala. Many love cooking delicious and easy Chinese dishes at their homes. While noodles and spaghetti are the commonly cooked dishes, pasta isn’t that popular. It is a common misconception that pasta takes too long to cook and that it involves a complex process as well. This recipe of Chinese style pasta is very easy and tastes incredible. This dish could be enjoyed as a filling dinner if you are bored of eating your regular chapathi or rice. Here is the recipe.

Ingredients
2 cups pasta
1 bell pepper
1 onion
3 tbsp tomato ketchup 
2 tsp red chilli sauce
1 ½ tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp cornflour
½ cup of water
Salt as required
Spring onion
1 tbsp garlic
1 tbsp ginger
¼ tsp pepper powder
1 tsp chilli powder
2 tbsp oil
3 green chillies
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp sugar
¼ tsp pepper powder

Preparation
Boil 3 cups water
Cook the pasta, drain and run them under some cold water
Keep the cooked pasta aside to be used later
Heat oil in a pan and sauté finely chopped ginger and garlic
Sauté onion and bell pepper as well
Into it add the tomato sauce, red chilli sauce and soy sauce 
Add chilli powder as well
Give everything a good mix
Mix cornflour in some water and add into the dish
Add sugar and vinegar
Mix well
Finally, add the cooked pasta and mix gently
Sprinkle pepper powder
Garnish with chopped spring onion
Chinese style pasta tastes best when served hot.
