Breakfast recipe: Fried dosa

Here is the recipe for a delicious fried dosa for breakfast

Stuffed with lightly cooked shallots, lentils and coconut, this variety of dosa is the tastiest you can have for breakfast. Fried dosa will be a change for the kids and to make them have a quick breakfast with no complaints. We recommend you tp try it with pudina chutney.

Ingredients

2 cups raw rice

1 cup urad dal

Coconut oil

Fist full of shallots

Fist full of garlic cloves

Fist full of yellow lentils

½ coconut (grated)

5 cashews

1 dried chilli

1 green chilli

Ghee

Preparation

Soak the raw rice and urad dal in water

Grind it into a fine dosa batter

Heat coconut oil in a pan

Add the shallots, garlic, yellow lentils, grated coconut, cashews, dried chilli and red chilli

Sauté well

When this sautéed mixture cools down, grind it into a paste

Add this paste into the previously prepared dosa batter

Mix well

Rub ghee on a hot tawa

Pour spoons full of the batter and make small dosas by flipping it.
