Young Indians releases animation film about 'Good Touch and Bad Touch' for children

As part of Children’s Day, the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and Young Indians (Yi) Trivandrum chapter have released an animation film.

Aimed to bring an awareness about 'Good Touch and Bad Touch' to children, the video focuses to prepare safer environments for children.

Modelled on two animated characters, the over 3-minutes long video discusses about how kids should respond when touched in an inappropriate manner and to express their emotions. The video then ends by teaching how one should say no to such scenarios.

“One of the significant Yi campaigns at the national level is ‘Masoom’ which focuses of preventing child sexual abuse,” said Jijimon Chandran, Yi Trivandrum chapter chairman.

“We had developed a cartoon booklet earlier from which animators at Elefaanty created this informative video aimed at kids,” he said.

Yi is a movement for Indian Youth to converge, lead, co-create and influence India’s future. As an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), it is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry led and industry managed organisation playing a proactive role in India's development process.
