Dileep a victim; case cooked up: Sangeetha Lakshmana
Mail This Article
A lawyer, who asserted in the past that the case against actor Dileep is a cooked up one, has come out in support of the latter yet again. Sangeetha Lakshmana has not spared the actresses who mounted an attack against the Association of Malayalam Movie Artists (AMMA) which re-inducted him.
Sangeetha said she was with 'victim' Dileep and asserted that there were many nasty tales behind the whole affair.
Relevant portions of Sangeetha Lakshmana's note:
The case on the alleged waylaying and assault of an actress is set for hearing now that the investigation is over. The media as well as the public should now leave the decision to the court. The women's gathering, WCC, which had shouted 'with the victim, trumpeting to attract crowds, has now realized that the case will not hold, and that many things kept buried will now be exposed. That's why they have set off with a new circus.
What else are they doing? Why are they trying, in vain, to pour oil into fire? Why are these women raising a hue and cry about the re-induction of Dileep into AMMA when in the first place he was not even expelled.
Did Manju Warrier leave the scene earlier because she realized that what the victim claimed were all false. Where is Beena Paul? Where is Anjali Menon? They were notable personalities but have disappeared.
There were more great women when many of them went to see the chief minister, all dressed up. Many of them left after realizing the truth.
Why is it that many of the other actresses in AMMA have no grudge against the organization's approach to Dileep? Why is it that none of the senior actresses have come out to in public support the young actress who claims to be the victim? That's because her claims have not been credible. Yes, only because of that. Think about it. Think if I'm not saying the truth.
The victim and her friends should stop barking like mad dogs and resorting to gimmicks to influence the court. Rather, if they have at least a bit of feminity with them, they should try to win the case at the hearing. Some victim and her friends! Stop firing blindly, and let the WCC support her efforts to win the case legally. That's what they should do. And then enter the court room!
After all it's an in-camera hearing. Who do the victim and her friends worry then. Why are they so panicked and upset? If she had set off to fight, why the panic now? Why is it that the friends are shivering? Let the WCC and the self-declared victim show the courage to wait for the court verdict. Let's see that support.
Yes, I'm with Dileep indeed. With Dileep, the victim. I'm definitely with the 'terrible criminal' called Dileep who assigned criminals to rape a young actress or shoot her nude pictures – the police are unsure – hero Dileep the Janapriyan. Because I had seen many of the case documents that the police had cooked up.
I know what the lawyers have told me after viewing the visuals that the police say the first accused shot after threatening the actress. I have read at least 75% of the case documents. Some of them came to me through media friends. If the mediapersons still light a torch for the young actress and her friends in spite of knowing the whole truth, it is because they have other intentions.
I have realized many of the nasty tales linked to this case from the case documents themselves. Only from them. Don't dare to threaten me! I won't be scared.
As he emerged after spending 85 days and 85 nights in jail, Dileep had declared boldly: 'I'm ready to face a probe by the independent CBI.' He wasn't rattled as he said that. As a lawyer, I can see only one meaning to that kind of boldness – that he is sure that his hands are clean. Therefore, I'm with Dileep more than ever. Always, always.
Sri Dileep, I have a desire to meet you sometime and sit with you for a while. After the case is over. I will be outside the court when the verdict is delivered. To receive you, to congratulate you. Later one day I will come to see you and Kavya and Meenakshi. I love you, Dileep, I love you even more now. Also, please know this. My prayers are with you and everyone at home with you. Yes, always, always.
