Actor Rajeev Pillai was all set to tie the knot with VJ Ajitha Balakrishnan, but it seems like destiny had different plans for the much-in-love couple.

With rains and floods in his locality, Pillai postponed his wedding and decided to lend a hand to all those affected by it.

Hailing from Nannoor in Thiruvalla, Rajeev was quoted by a daily saying, “Wedding can wait. Right now, the focus should be on coordinating rehabilitation efforts.”

Further he revealed that if everything goes fine, the wedding will probably take place next month and it will be a very private affair.
