Why is Priya P Varrier getting trolled after donating for flood victims?

Priya Prakash Varrier, who became an internet sensation with a wink, might have won many hearts. But the young actress is now getting trolled for perhaps the wrong reasons.

The 'Oru Adaar Love' actress donated Rs 1 lakh to the Chief Minister’s Distress Fund of Kerala after the state was ravaged by monsoon fury.

Floods and landslides wreaked havoc in the state displacing more than a million people and claiming hundreds of lives apart from inundating houses and causing widespread damage to infrastructure .

Priya then clarified that she was not doing this for publicity and posted the receipt in Instagram publicly.

And it seems this did not go well with trollers who wondered why she needed to post the receipt of the amount of the donation if she was not seeking publicity.
