Actress Namitha slams media for reckless job

Malayalam film actress Namitha Pramod has lambasted a section of the media for dragging her name into unnecessary controversies.

“When some problems erupted in the cinema industry, my name too was dragged into it. It is the media which informs the public about whatever happens around the world. They definitely should have some sense of justice,” Namitha didn't mince her words.

Earlier, there were reports that Namitha was part of a sensational case in which an actress was attacked. Namitha's name got dragged into the controversy since she was a part of the show which Dileep, an accused in the case, and his colleagues had held in the US.

“One should enquire about the authenticity of a report before actually publishing it. It is not right to allege that someone is part of a case as casually as publishing a gossip story. I was upset in the beginning, often wondering why I had been unnecessarily dragged into all these. But I must say that the support that I got from my family and friends is incredible,” the actress stated.

The young actress claimed she would quit acting after marriage. However, she added that she has no plans to get hitched at least within the next three years. She said, “I am not thinking about marriage now. One should take care of her husband and family after getting married. I will think about all those when I grow a little more mature, which I think would take at least three years.”

Namitha is not someone who would fret about her future. The youngster clearly stated that she would continue doing movies for some more time, after which she would prefer to get married and settle in domestic bliss. “It is unlikely that I would continue in the movies after marriage. However, I am not going to compromise on my education. I would like to relax at home after marriage. It is the mother who is the pillar of strength for any family. I grew up watching my mother, who has dedicated her life for us. I too want to become a good homemaker like her. It is just my own personal opinion,” Namitha said.

Namitha is currently acting in ‘Professor Dinkan’ opposite actor Dileep. This would be the actress’s fifth collaboration with Dileep. Namitha was last seen in the Malayalam movie ‘Kammarasambhavam’.
