Honey Rose reveals her alternative career plan
Onmanorama caught up with Rose to ask Just One Question: What would have been your profession if not a film star?

Honey Rose landed in Malayalam film industry with the 2005 campus film  'Boyy Friennd' directed by ace director Vinayan. Right from then, there was no looking back for this exceptionally beautiful heroine.

Rose has already played the central character in about 25 movies. Now, as her second movie with Vinayan 'Chalakudykkaran Changathi', which is also the biopic of demised Malayalam actor Kalabhavan Mani, is all set to reach theatres on September 28, Onmanorama caught up with Rose to ask Just One Question: What would have been your profession if not a film star?

“I have faced this question several times,” Rose replied. Without a second thought, the actor said that she would have chosen some field related to art. “I love drawing. I am a painter as well. Perhaps I would have shone in one of those fields,” she guessed.

Adding to it, Rose said that she cannot even think of pursuing a regular office-going profession. She would have rather become a fashion designer than a corporate professional.

On a serious note, Honey revealed that her family has a business enterprise related to beauty and skincare. Yes, the star would have also become an entrepreneur if not a film-star. We have a company that manufactures organic bath brushes. It is named 'Honey bath brush.' Our family has been into this business for almost 25 years now,” she said.

A vetiver-based organic skincare brand, 'Honey bath products' had earlier manufactured Ayurvedic vetiver beds and fans. The company focuses on vetiver bath-brushes at present. “Many people used to ask me the secret behind my glowing skin. I would accredit it to this product. You would think I am advertising our product but I am telling the truth..,” she said.

The actor, who secured an MBA amid her busy movie career, has a long-term plan to take up her family business seriously and develop it. “I am not too much involved in that business. Though I used to enquire about its running and revenues, I don't bother too much about it,” she said.

So, if not a film star, Rose would have been a business-person also!
