The movie 'Vallikudilile Vellakkaran', which vows to take the audience on a laugh riot, is all set to hit the screens.
Ganapathy, who made his way into the hearts of the Malayali movie lovers by singing ‘Paalum pazhavum kaikalil eenthy’ in the Dileep-starrer 'Vinodayathra', will be essaying the lead role in the film. The movie apparently will be a celebration of youth and love.
The new generation’s craze for migrating to Europe and the tensions that it creates in the families form the crux of the plot.
Sam Joseph and Tom Joseph are the sons of Joseph and Mary who live peacefully in their quaint little house in the city. Joseph had, years ago, left his job in the Europe to enjoy a blissful life with his family back home. However, Joseph’s sons dream of setting up their lives in Europe. In the meantime, the two women who enter the youngsters’ lives try to give some clarity to their thoughts and significantly influence them. The movie discusses a serious and relevant theme without actually breaking away from the light-hearted mood of it.
Debutant Duglus has directed 'Vallikudilile Vellakkaran' which is produced jointly by Navis Xavier, Siju Mathew and Dr Sanjitha VS. Jose John and Jijo Justine have prepared the story, screenplay and dialogues of the movie. The cinematography is handled by Pavi K Pavan, while the songs are penned by Hari Narayanan. The music is by Deepak Dev and Naifal Abdullah is the editor.
Aju Varghese, Ranji Panicker, Rahul Madhav, Mala Parvathy, Vishnu Govindan, Saju Navodaya, Marimayam Sreekumar, Tanuja Karthik and Alfi Panjikkaran play pivotal roles in 'Vallikudilile Vellakkaran'.
