Actor Duniya Vijay in trouble after wives lock horns

Kannada film actor Vijay Kumar, known as Duniya Vijay, is in the news for the wrong reasons.

His first wife Nagarathna assaulted his second wife Keerthi Gowda and is on the run. Police confirmed that they are searching for her.

The issue between the two wives is reportedly surrounding the custody of his daughter Monica.

According to reports, Vijay appealed to Nagarathna to surrender for the sake of her child. “Keerthi and I asked police not to act against my daughter to ensure her future is not spoilt,” he said.

Vijay divorced Nagarathna after 14 years of married life. The actor claimed that he has filed for divorce after his wife, started to harass him mentally.

However, Nagarathna said, "It is because of his affair, my marriage with him is in trouble. Hence, I don't have any option but to talk about the issue. I was shocked when Vijay approached me for the divorce. I was more shocked when he said that he will take care of me well even after the divorce and not to make it an issue."

It was after the divorce that Vijay got married to Keerthi, a former model and IT employee, in 2016.
