First look of Anjali’s 3D horror flick Lisaa evokes curiosity
Anjali's performance in Lisaa is expected to put her again in the limelight.

The first look of the horror thriller ‘Lisaa’ was released by noted Telugu director Puri Jagannath in Hyderabad. The poster that shows lead actress Anjali staring through a window against the backdrop of a dingy, bloodstained wall apparently evoked a lot of curiosity among film buffs.

The movie being shot using stereoscopic 3D formula is the first horror flick filmed using the technology in the country, according to its producers. It is being simultaneously shot in Telugu and Tamil and will be dubbed into Hindi and Malayalam.

The film shot using a Helium 8K camera is produced by P G Muthaiah under the banner of PG Media works.

Anjali will be seen as yet another ghost in Lisaa after her earlier film Balloon.

Though her Malayalam film Rosapoo starring Biju Menon released early this year was a damp squib, Anjali’s performance was widely acclaimed by critics and viewers alike. It was also a comeback film in Malayalam for her after the 2011 flick Payyans with Jayasurya in the lead. However, her performance in Lisaa is expected to put her again in the limelight.

The Telugu speaking star has been going strong in all south Indian films for quite a while now. Though she is a raging hit in Tamil, she has got her considerable presence in Tollywood as well. Director Raju Viswanath is making the stage ready for a Christmas release for Lisaa.

Telugu audiences are keeping their fingers crossed for this 3D film.
