Makers of Ram Charan starrer 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' was in for a rude shock when leggy lass Ileana demanded a whopping Rs 60 lakh for a special song in the film, despite her waning career in tinsel town and the huge disaster of her comeback movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ in the box office.
But then, as they say, whatever happens, happens for a reason! The makers of the big-ticket flick were quick enough to spot another promising actress to do the song! A little bird says the film’s director Boyapati Srinivas is planning to rope in sensuous siren Catherine Tresa, who has already acted in one of his earlier films.
The Dubai-born, Bangalore-educated Malayali girl has already made a mark in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies.
The recently released trailer of 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' has already become a raging hit among hard-core Cherry fans. Meanwhile, it is rumoured that some distributors are planning to get the film released in Malayalam as well. Buoyed by the huge success of Ram Charan’s 'Rangasthalam' in God’s Own Country, they are hoping to recreate the magic.
According to sources, VVR Distributors and Prakash Films have already approached Boyapati and paid a huge some for the rights of the film in Malayalam.
'Vinaya Vidheya Rama' is set for Sankranthi release worldwide. Acting sensation Kiara Advani is playing opposite Ram Charan in the film. Renowned musician Devi Sri Prasad is composing music for the film being produced under the banner of DVV Entertainment. Senior actors Prashant and Sneha are also playing important roles in the action drama.
