Odiyan to release as per schedule despite BJP hartal

Thiruvananthapuram: As scheduled earlier, Malayalam actor Mohanlal's most anticipated movie 'Odiyan' will release on Friday although the Bharathiya Janatha Party (BJP) announced a dawn-to-dusk hartal.
The makers of Odiyan themselves announced on their official Facebook page that it will have all the shows starting at 4.30 am.
The hartal was called after a man, who lit himself up and ran into the makeshift protest venue in front of the Secretariat, succumbed to his injuries on Thursday.
BJP leader C K Padmanabhan has been on an indefinite strike at the venue, seeking to lift police curbs at the Sabarimala temple.
