Pranav, Gokul recreate history in 'Irupathiyonnam Noottandu'

A new poster of the movie 'Irupathiyonnam Noottandu' directed by Arun Gopi and starring Pranav Mohanlal has been released. The speciality is that the new poster also features Gokul Suresh, son of veteran actor Suresh Gopi.

The movie is touted to be the sequel of the 1987 movie 'Irupatham Noottandu' in which actor Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi played the main role. The new poster rekindles the memory of the Mohanalal-Suresh Gopi duo.

'Irupatham Noottandu' was directed by K Madhu, and Arun Gopi is his disciple, which makes him the apt choice to direct the new movie.

This movie is produced by Tomichan Mulakuppadam. Pranav plays the role of a surfer in the movie. To perfect the sport, Pranav underwent a month long training in Indonesia. The action will be directed by 'Pulimurugan' fame Peter Hein.

The film has been shot in Goa, Kanjirappally, Hyderabad, and South Africa. Rachel plays the female lead.

Other main actors include Manoj K Jayan, Kalabhavan Shajon, Dharmajan Bolgatty. The photography is by Abinandhan Ramanujam, and the music by Gopi Sundar.
