Recently, the actress had shared the sad news of her husband's death on January 11. She shared an old pic on Instagram and wrote, “On Jan 11th, I lost the single most important person in my life. My best friend, soul mate, partner in crime, husband passed away leaving me with a bleeding heart. 15 years of being inseparable buddies, growing up together, sharing a life of pure joy, love and gay abandon...gone in a flash. The void that now remains is indescribable. Heartfelt gratitude to all the beautiful, loving people who have been standing with me through this and giving me so much love and strength. It's this love that keeps me going.” (sic.)

Neha was married to Avinash Iyer.

Neha was seen in a dance number 'Babuvetta' in the movie 'Kodathi Samaksham Balan Vakeel' directed by B Unnikrishnan which starred Dileep and Mamtha Mohandas in the lead.
