TV actress Ambili Devi has a disappointing news for her fans! Ambili will be taking a break from acting owing to her health issues.

The actress herself shared the news on her Facebook page through a video where she was seen saying, “I am in my early stage of pregnancy and the doctors have now suggested me to take complete rest. So I will no longer be seen in the serial Sthreepadam.”

Ambili Devi was seen playing the role of Preethi in the popular serial 'Sthreepadam' aired on Mazhavil Manorama.

She, then also requested the viewers to accept the new actress who would replace her character.

The wedding of Ambili Devi and Adithyan created a huge buzz in the entertainment industry. The long-term friends and co-stars got married in a private function in January.

The actress is currently expecting her first child with Adithyan.

Ambili has a 7-year old son from her previous marriage with cinematographer Lowel.
