Babita Tade is the first woman in Kaun Banega Crorepati's new season to have won Rs 1 crore. Before Babita, IAS aspirant from Bihar, Sanoj Raj, had also won Rs 1 crore. Sanoj, who had quit instead of attempting to answer Rs 7 crore question, had said that he wanted to help farmers and those who were underprivileged once he gets himself a stable job.
Babita, is a cook by profession who makes Khichdi for school children. Hailing from Amravati in Maharashtra, her salary was meager Rs 1500 per month.
A promo was recently released by the team showing her daily life.
She says that she loves cooking for children was happy with whatever money she earned because children who she cooked for love her food. She also revealed on the show that her only desire is to have a mobile phone of her own because there is only one at their home.
The show hosted by Amitabh Bachchan is currently airing the 11th season.
