Noorin Shereef paired opposite Akshay in 'Vellappam'

Akshay Radhakrishnan will be seen opposite to Noorin Shereef in the movie Vellappam. Directed by Praveen Raj, Vellappam is touted to be a romantic comedy and will be set in Vellappam Angadi in Thrissur.

Akshay was last seen in a pivotal role in Pathinettam Padi while Noorin made her debut with Oru Adaar Love.

Akshay plays a character named Josemon and Noorin is cast as Kalina, an artist who comes to Thrissur to retouch mural paintings of Puthanpally that were damaged during floods.

The film will also see Shine Tom Chacko, Leona Lishoy, Sreejith Ravi etc among the cast.

The movie will start shooting by November 17.

Meanwhile, Noorin Shereef is making her Telugu debut in the film, Oolala Oolala. She has also signed a movie with Unni Mukundan titled Chocolate Retold.
