After some psychedelic posters, an intriguing teaser and a bemusing song, team Trance has released the official trailer of the Fahadh Faasil-starrer, undoubtedly one of the most anticipated Malayalam films of the year.
Going by the trailer released on Tuesday, one can't be blamed for finding similarities with Fahadh's character and the controversial spiritual guru Osho Rajneesh. The trailer presents Fahadh as some sort of a guru with a luxurious lifetsyle. Fans have already started asking if the film is inspired from the life of Osho. To one such question on social media, screenwriter Vincent Vadakkan has already answered 'no'.
The trailer also introduces the characters played by Nazriya Nazim, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Soubin Shahir, Vinayakan, Chemban Vinod Jose and Dileesh Pothan.
Directed by Anwar Rasheed, the movie is slated to hit the theatres on February 20, Thursday.
Recently, the release date of Trance was postponed after the regional censor board referred it to the Mumbai office for a review.
Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, the star couple, are sharing the screen in Trance for the first time after they tied the knot. Fahadh appeares in the role of Viju Prasad and Nazriya as Esther Lopez.
