Hareesh Peradi who dubbed for Balachandran in Minnal Murali reminisces old days

The demise of actor Balachandran, who played a prominent role in the movie 'Minnal Murali', had put the makers of the movie in a fix. It was director Basil Joseph who suggested actor Hareesh Peradi to dub for the noted actor.

In a Facebook post, Peradi who completed the character of Jaison's (Tovino Thomas) foster father Varkey (Balachandran) by lending voice, recalled the fond memories of the olden days when the two were associated with drama and theatre.

Peradi says that during his drama nights, he and 'Balettan' used to share warmth and had reproaches and used to act in movies together. "When Basil called me to dub, it became an opportunity to pay tribute to Balettan who was like my Guru," he writes.
