Kochi: Renowned film and theatre artist KPAC Lalitha, who has been undergoing treatment for a liver ailment at a private hospital in Ernakulam for some time, has been shifted to her actor-director son Sidharth's home in Tripunithura.
Lalitha was first admitted to a hospital in Thrissur in October 2021. She was later moved to the Kochi hospital for a liver transplant.
Lalitha lived in her house 'Orma' at Enkakkad in Wadakkanchery in Thrissur district after her marriage to legendary filmmaker, Bharathan, before being admitted to the hospital.
She was brought to the house in Enkakkad following her request to go back home. But her condition deteriorated in a few days and was unable to talk or even identify anyone. Lalitha's son Sidharth, daughter Sreekutty, who came down from Mumbai, and Sidharth's wife stayed with her during those days.
She was shifted to Sidharth's house on Wednesday.
