Actor Rajesh Madhavan married production designer and assistant director Deepti Karat in an intimate ceremony on Thursday. Photos from the wedding have gone viral on social media. More details about the wedding are expected to be out soon. Rajesh started his career in TV programmes and later made his entry in movies with Sajin Baabu's first feature film 'Asthamayam Vare (Unto the Desk)' in 2014 that also featured Sanal Aman. It was his meeting with director-actor Dileesh Pothan that changed his destiny.
Rajesh along with his friend Ravi Shankar met Dileesh to discuss the script of a film. It was Dileesh who introduced him as an actor with a small role in his film 'Maheshinte Pratheekaram'. Rajesh also worked as an assistant director in 'Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum' and also a casting director in the critically-acclaimed film 'Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam'.

He made a mark playing noticeable roles in 'Kanakam Kamini Kalaham', '18+', 'Neelavelicham' and 'Minnal Murali'. Recently, he played the lead role in 'Sureshinteyum Sumalathayudeyum Hridaya Hariyaaya Pranayakadha'. He is gearing up for his directorial debut with 'Pennum Porattum'. Deepti has worked as an assistant director in films like 'Indian Police Force', 'Dahaad', 'Sithara', 'Across the Ocean' and 'Careful'.
