A woman named Thara RK has grabbed the spotlight on social media platforms Tik Tok for her resemblance to actress Silk Smitha. She can be seen lip-syncing to songs picturised on the iconic actor on video sharing app Tik Tok.
Apart from lip-syncing to a few songs, she lip-synced a dialogue from Mohanlal's evergreen film Spadikam. Now, it looks like, Mohanlal fans have shared it widely on the occasion of the actor's 60th birthday.
Not just that, the upcoming model has also shared a couple of pics from her photoshoot.
Interestingly, she has kept most of the pics and videos in black and white.
Many have come forward praising her uncanny similarity to the late actress. While one wrote, “Eyes Expression, Same”, another wrote “You have resurrected the old Golden days.”
Meanwhile, Vijayalakshmi Vadlapati, better known by her stage name Silk Smitha, worked predominantly in South Indian films. She entered the industry as a side actress and was first noticed for her role as 'Silk' in the 1979 Tamil film Vandichakkaram. In a career spanning 17 years, she appeared in over 450 films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi languages.
