The parents of rapper Sidhu Moose Wala, who was shot to death by a gang of men in 2022, are expecting a baby. As per reports, Sidhu's mother Charan Kaur is pregnant with a child. Though there are reports that Charan is in the trimester period, the parents are yet to share a confirmation in this regard.
Sidhu was the only child of his parents and was murdered just a few days before his 29th birthday. The singer was known for his outspoken statements and songs and was hugely popular among the youth in India. In Punjab, he was considered a musical genius and icon and was instrumental in introducing Punjabi music in the mainstream. Internationally too, the composer, singer and lyricist was a well-known figure.
Sidhu had contested in the 2022 Punjab Assembly Elections on a Congress ticket but lost to an AAP contestant. During his lifetime, the singer was involved in several controversies and was heavily criticised for promoting gun culture through his songs. He had also openly supported the Khalistani separatist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale through one of his songs.
