Actor Nitin Thomas's journey has constantly been marked by ups and lows, but there is no denying his passion for cinema. The actor who made his cinematic debut in 2009 with short films, plays an interesting role in the just-released film 'Jameelante Poovankozhi' featuring Bindu Panicker, Mithun Nalini and Suraj Pops. He is thrilled to have also done some jaw-dropping stunts along with the lead actors in the film. “This is a first in my career. I was thrilled to know I had some good stunts, which were being choreographed by Ashraf Gurukkal, in the movie. Luckily, my actions synced well with Mithun and Suraj and we were able to do the scenes in a few takes,” he said.
Nitin had previously played a small role in Biju Menon's 'Thundu', but his best memory is from Mammotty-starrer 'Christopher' when he interacted with the superstar. 'When Mammootty sir enquired about my work on the sets, I told him I am a 'struggler.' He told me we all are struggle at some point and that brought me a lot of comfort. I will never forget that interaction,” he said.

Nitin has directed a short film on mental health, which was released on World Mental Health Day. His short film 'Metro Film' also won the third prize at the KMRL, which was organised last year. He has some upcoming films in Malayalam and Tamil. He also plans to direct a film in the near future.
