Who can forget the hit song 'Chingamasam' from the 2002 movie 'Meesa Madhavan'! As the movie reaches 16 years of its release, singer Rimi Tomy has shared an emotional note recalling the big break that she got in the Malayalam film industry.

“'Meesa Madhavan' was a life-changing movie. Sixteen years back I never thought of being a Malayalam movie singer. I thank Nadirshah, Dileep and Lal Jose for giving me a chance to become one”, she wrote on her Instagram post.

Reportedly, it was Dileep who introduced Rimi to filmmaker Lal Jose to sing in his film 'Meesa Madhavan'.
